  1. If Desktop Shortcuts Are Not Working! How To Fix It? Sometimes, when customer update to Window 10 their Shortcuts stops working. To fix this issue, you should read the following method to fix if Desktop Shortcuts are not working. For details, tap on office.com/myaccount. Method to Fix IfDesktop Shortcuts Are Not Working: 1. Remove your Antivirus: Sometimes, these problems occur when your desktop shortcuts are not working because of the antivirus software. To fix this issue, you should use another antivirus solution. With another antivirus, you will get great protection while browsing and also the threats will be detected immediately. It is recommended that you should install those antiviruses which do not interfere with your Windows and your system. 2. Check Application Shortcuts Directory: For this, you need to open the root folder where you have installed the Modern UI app. After this, you should visit to the path and then find the apps which is creating issues: C:UsersYour Shortcuts Account NameAppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsApplication Here in this folder, you should find the apps which you have installed in your system and each should be in separate folder. At this point, you should find the apps which do not work and just open their folder. Lastly, tap on Apply and OK option to save changes. 5. Leave Homegroup: To leave Homegroup, you should hit on Win Key + S together and then input control panel. From the list, you should choose Control Panel. After this, you should visit to HomeGroup. Then, you have to hit on Leave the homegroup. Again, tap on Leave the homegroup.
