Method To Disable Antimalware Service Executable: 1. Use Settings App: For this, you should open the Windows Start menu just by tapping on the Start menu icon which is in the taskbar. After this, you should hit on the Settings icon. Now, you should scroll down to the Privacy & Security tab. At this point, you should tap on Windows Security which is on the right side. Here, you should tap on Virus & threat protection. You will view a window for Windows Security. Then, you have to find Virus & threat protection settings. Next, you should tap on Manage settings under it. At last, you have to find Real-time protection and then just slide the switch in order to turn off Windows Defender. 2. Use Registry Editor: The user should tap on the magnifying glass icon just to bring up the Search bar. Now, you should type Registry Editor in the Search bar and then hit on it. After

Here in the new menu, you should tap on SOFTWARE in order to open the drop-down menu. At this point, you should scroll down and then tap on Policies. Then, tap on Microsoft and hit on Windows Defender. Next, you should find a registry entry called DisableAntiSpyware. Now, you should double-tap on it and you will view a small window. After this, you should set the Value Data to 1 and then tap on Ok button. If the user does not find DisableAntiSpyware entry, then you should create it. In the Windows Defender page, you should right-tap to bring a drop-down menu. Here, you need to choose DWORD (32 bit) Value. And then name the registry DisableAntiSpyware. At last, you should set the Value Data to 1. 3. Add the Process to Exclusion List: First of all, you should tap on the magnifying glass icon just to come up with the Search bar. After this, you need to type Windows Security in the Search bar and then tap on it. Then in Windows Security, you should tap on Virus & threat protection. Now, you should scroll down to Manage settings just under Virus & threat protection settings. Here in the new window, you should go to the section which is titled as Exclusions. Just under Exclusions, you should tap on Add or remove exclusions. At this point, you will view a small window which asks you that you wish to make change, then tap on Yes option. In the Exclusions window, you should tap on Add an exclusion to open a drop-down menu. And in this drop- down menu, you should choose Process option. You will view a small window on your screen and then type MsMpEng.exe. Here, the user will view the executable file for Antimalware Service Executable. At this point, you should tap on Add option and then Antimalware Service Executable is there on the Exclusion List. If in case, the user wants to remove it from the list and the process, then tap on the exclusion’s arrow and just choose Remove option and then tap on OK button.
