  1. 3 Spectacular Places in Colorado Springs Colorado Springs is one of the most populated regions of El Paso County, United States. Colorado Springs is located in the east-central region of Colorado, 97 kilometres away from Denver.   2. Gardens of the Gods : Gardens of the Gods are a beautiful public park that has been in 1971 designated as a National Natural Landmark. This public park features large sandstone rock formations and often referred to as the capital place for a beer garden. The rock has been formed on ancient sedimentary rock beds of deep pink, yellow, red, and white hues, limestone’s some of which has been deposited horizontally and vertically. One of the largest striking features of the park is the South Gateway, Gray Rock, and the Sleeping giant all of which are composed of Lyons Formations from fine sand and dunes.
