IMPORTANCE OF THICKNESS IN POWDER COATING WHY IS THICKNESS SO IMPORTANT IN POWER COATING According to the experts, it is revealed that the overall appearance as well as the performance of the finished product is entirely dependent on the thickness of the coat which is technically known as the “Dry Film Thickness” - DFT. HOW WILL YOU DETERMINE THE THICKNESS OF THE POWDER COATING The technicians make use of the ultrasonic instruments which will be used in measuring the thickness and if there is an extra coat then it would be easy to remove the extra powder automatically. Note:-Post cure thickness measurement is as important as the pre-cure thickness measurement, It entails that the product would have high quality finish and sleek look.
