Established in 1989, the company now anticipates the needs of the twenty-first century. Starting with a single truck, bus, and articulated trailer model, it has grown to become one of India's premier commercial vehicle manufacturers. • It has a presence in both national and international commercial vehicle segments with over 35 products with various variants tailored to customer needs. The company specializes in Commercial Vehicles, Garbage Compactors, and Cold Roll forming products.

  3. COMPANY PROFILE Indico Motors has been one of India's premier commercial vehicle manufacturer over a decade. Beginning with a single truck, bus and articulated trailer's model way back in the 1989, today we have over 35 models and 60 variants of vehicles, designed to transport goods and passengers. Our commercial vehicles can haul loads ranging from 2 tonnes to 80 tonnes. The origin of Indico Motors can be traced to the urge for self-reliance, felt by Mr. Sanjay Dubey, an industrialist, In 1989. Since then Indico Motors has been a major presence in India's commercial vehicle industry with a tradition of technological leadership, achieved through tie-ups with international technology leaders and through vigorous in-house R&D. Indico caters to major OEMs like TATA, Ashok Leyland, Bharat Benz, Eicher and Mahindra. ARSS - Bhubneshwar and Avian Overseas also to major fleet owners across the country. On its part, the Indico Group has taken on the singular and onerous responsibility of creating world-class manufacturing facilities with robust processes, building the supply chain, setting up an extensive distribution networks and providing insights into the mind of the Indian and foreign customer.

  4. The company has six main manufacturing facilities in Jamshedpur site and Hosur site and currently produces more than fifty trailers every week. With more than 400 qualified and highly motivated employees. The company is registered under ISO 9001:2000. Further investments continue to be made in new facilities under a program of improvements in manufacturing methods, materials handling systems, the products themselves and customer service. The company invests heavily in the latest manufacturing technology. Facilities include use of lasers, plasmas, punches and presses..
