  1. NORMAL DELIVERY All living organisms give birth to young ones of their kind to continue life on earth. Reproduction is natural selection of male and female gametes that unite in womb of the organism to produce offspring of its own kind. It is the most essential biological life process for mankind or different species to exist in universe.

A human being passes through different phases of life, transits through a vital milestone of giving birth or reproduce through natural conception where an ovum-female egg cell is fertilized by sperm-male cell that forms a zygote. Zygote gradually evolves, grows into foetus inside the uterus that forces its way naturally into the world after a full term healthy pregnancy.

  3. Parenthood is a desire of every married couple during their gestational or child bearing age. A planned approach to a healthy pregnancy is crucial for better health of mother and child during and post delivery. A gynaecologist should be consulted once the women experience any symptoms or absence of normal menstrual cycle. Once the gynaecologist confirms about the pregnancy, every women should follow necessary guidelines as advised by the doctor. A pregnant women is under observation for 9 months where all her vital signs are monitored periodically with instructions for intake of vitamins, iron supplements, healthy diet and maintain a healthy lifestyle. After a definite healthy regime, a women is prepared for delivery. Delivery is natural and spontaneous if a woman is not diseased, has normal uterine contractions during labour with a healthy, normal vertex presentation of baby in uterus.

  4. Normal Vaginal Delivery is when the birth of child happens through a natural passage called vagina. With onset of labour pains, cervix of the uterus dilates up to 4 inches with discharge of amniotic fluid which lasts from 12 to 16 hours. Next stage is up to 40 minutes of labour pains, where baby pushes its way, head first through the cervix of uterus. The baby is swiftly rotated for shoulders to pass and lastly the abdomen and legs come out from the womb. During the third stage placenta
