  1. What are the properties of Alloy 20 Bolts? What kind of metal is alloy 20? ASTM b473 alloy 20 is a nickel-iron-chromium based with excellent corrosion resistance in extreme environment. Alloy 20, which is also known as carpenter 20 and 20CB-3. 3. Astm B473 Alloy 20 Specifications A bolt is a type of fastener which is used to join two parts together. A bolt is a form of threaded fastener with an external male thread requiring a matching pre-formed female thread such as a nut. Bolts are very closely related to screws. A fastener or fastening is a hardware device that mechanically joins or affixes two or more objects together. In general, fasteners are used to create non-permanent joints; that is, joints that can be removed or dismantled without damaging the joining components. Welding is an example of creating permanent joints. Steel fasteners are usually made of stainless steel, carbon steel, or alloy steel. Because Alloy 20 provides greater mechanical strength to fasteners, it is more reliably at both elevated and ambient temperatures. The alloy 20 bolts suppliers make fasteners that have high-grade alloy. Other various types produced are slip-on, blind, long weld neck, socket-weld, RTJ, and other items in addition to fasteners. Alloy UNS N08020 Fasteners have high resistivity for pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion. Content Credit : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fastener https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolt_(fastener)
