Dr. Jason Walker has spent almost a decade working closely with indigenous communities throughout British Columbia. He served as the Director of Community & Social Services for the Malahat First Nation, where he established the assessment and provision of social services for residents of the reserve, including welfare, health care, childcare, employment, and mental health initiatives. Later, as Chief Administrative Officer, he developed integrated strategies to increase government programs, services, and funding for the community.<br>
