  1. WHAT IS NAPLAN? AND WHAT IT MEANS FOR STUDENTS?

  2. NAPLAN is realistic for about one million Australian students each year. For parents, NAPLAN can seem puzzling. In a lot of ways, NAPLAN Preparation is complex, so this general idea sets out to cover all the essential info you require to recognize, involving what is assessed, how the info is utilized, and how to help prepare your child for the tests.

  3. The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) has been an annual evaluation for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 in all Australian schools.

  4. NAPLAN is about evaluating their capability in skills that will be necessary for daily life, such as finding work, filling forms, and understanding how to do calculations.

  5. Numeracy The numeracy tests calculate a student’s mathematical ability in four key areas – understanding, fluency, problem-solving, and reasoning. The three strands of math – number and algebra, dimension and geometry, and statistics and probability.

  6. Language conventions These tests swathe key areas of literacy, consisting of spelling, grammar and punctuation that are vital for good reading and writing. These tests go hand-in-hand with the writing-task, where spelling, grammar and punctuation are evaluated in the framework of a student’s formation of text.

  7. Writing For the writing test, students are asked to write a constant text. They are given a thought or topic as a prompt, and asked to write a reply of a precise text type
