  2. TAJ MAHAL "A testament of undying love" ,Taj Mahal, Agra is undoubtedly one of the supreme accomplishments of Mughal Empire. Shah Jahan the ruler of the Mughal Empire in India ,who was noted for his architectural achievements commissioned the building of Taj Mahal, Agra as a tomb for his beloved Mumtaaz.

  3. Taj Mahal travel become the memorable trip if you have time for you to see and feel the wonder of this  monument. Taj Mahal means "crown of the building" and is definitely the finest exemplary case of Mugahl structures which is the combination of India, Islamic and Persian structures. 

  4. ARCHITECTURE   It is built Between 1632 B.C To 1653 B.C. It cost about 32 million Indian rupees and architected by Ustad Ahmad Lahauri, the entrance fees of Taj Mahal for foreigners is 1000 rupees. The Taj Mahal incorporates and expnds on many design traditions, particularly Hindu, Ottoman, and earlier Mughal architecture.

  5. Structural Details of Taj Mahal 1. On a platform 22' high and 313' square. each tower is 133 feet tall Building is 186 feet high and 70 wide. 2.Corner minarets are 137' tall. Main structure 186' on a side , dome to 187'.

  6. 3.The mausoleum is 190 ft square in plan. 4. "The central inner dome is 24.5m (81 ft) and 17.7 m (58ft) in diameter , but is surmounted by outer shell nearly 61 m. 5.The Taj stands on a raised , square platform (186*186 feet) with its four corners trunccated, forming an unequal octagon.
