  1. Top 10 Tips For Booking International Flights

  2. Most of us like to travel and see new places as often as we can. However, the high costs of flight tickets can often prove to be a huge roadblock in our plans. To help you find the best deals on your next flight abroad, here are 10 tips for booking international flights.

  3. 1. Do your bookings in advance • The sooner you book your tickets, the better the discounts. Try to make your reservations at least 1 to 2 months in advance so that you land the best deals. 2. Book seats on the airline’s website • Aggregator websites help you compare rates of airline tickets across various carriers; however, if you book tickets through aggregators, you will end up paying a service fee. Instead, book your tickets through the airline directly and save money. 3. Check for bulk discounts • If you need to book tickets for several friends or family members at once, consider contacting the airline directly for discounts. Many airlines are known to offer discounts if you book several seats at once. Since international flights are already so expensive, these discounts can really save you a fortune.

  4. 4. Opt for connecting flights • Non-stop flights are extremely convenient; however, connecting flights might save you a lot of money. You can actually save a lot of money this way and use those saved funds on your trip instead. 5. Use your miles • Use frequent flier miles to get discounts on your international flights. Most of us tend to accumulate points and forget about using them. Make sure to use these miles so that you end up spending less on your flight tickets. 6. Fly on a Tuesday • Flight tickets are generally cheaper on Tuesdays. If possible, try to book your tickets for Tuesdays to try to get the lowest prices possible. Wednesdays too sometimes have extremely low rates on flight tickets.

  5. 7. Set price alerts • You may not get the lowest prices on your flight tickets the first time you run a search. If that is the case, simply set price alerts so that you get notified of changes in the ticket price. 8. Search on social media • Social media groups and pages are often the best places to learn about deals and discounts. Join an airline’s page and learn about the latest deals as soon as they are out. 9. Sign up for airline newsletters • Airlines are known to publish some of their best deals on their newsletters. Make sure to sign up for these newsletters to find out about the latest offers on international flights from your favourite carrier.

  6. 10. Choose a low-cost airline • These days, there are many budget carriers that fly internationally. Choose to fly with a low-cost carrier and save a huge amount of money on booking your flights. Low-cost carriers are comfortable and offer you good service on board. • We hope that these tips prove to be helpful for you the next time you book international flights. Good luck and take care!
