  2. Introduction Of Length Length is a distance from ONE POINT to OTHER POINT . The Standard Unit of length is “Centimetre”. There are many ways to measure length like with this. (C - Laser-Measure ) (A- Vernier Caliper) (B- Tape Measure) (D- Angle-Gauge)

  3. Below are ancient ways to measure (A- Arm Span) (B- Stride) (C- Span)

First Type of Measure Length Customary :- • Customary Length is what we use in the UNITED STATES. • It Inclueds “ Inches, Feet, Yards & Miles”. • 1 Inch = A size Of Paper Clip. • 1 Foot = The length of a piece of notebook paper. • 1 Yard = The length of Cricket Bat • 12 inches = 1 Foot. • 3 Feet = 1 Yard. • 36 Inches = 1 Yard.

  5. Second Type of Measure Length Metric:- • Metric Length is what most of the world uses. • It Inclueds “Millimetres, Centimeter, Meter, Kilometer.” • 1 Millimetres is about as thick as a Coin. • 1 Centimetre = Index Finger Width. • 1 Kilometre =Half and more than a Mile

  6. How to Measure a Rectangle? • Length = 100 cm • Width= 50 cm • Area of the Green Board is • 100X50=5000 • The Unit is cm² • So the answer is 5000cm² First we have to find the width and length of Rectangle. 100 cm 50 cm
