The meaning of leadership style is the behavior, character, and capability to manage the team. Leadership style also explains the leader's ability to implement strategies and plans for the improvement of the business. It also depends on the individual personality and their way of handling and managing the team and situation from their perspective. Transformative leaders can make people or teams come out of their comfort zones and work hard by inspiring and boosting their energy. This type of leader will always be ahead in the process as they tend to do beyond day-to-day work and plan the day with a tighter schedule and the team working under such a leader will also be adapted to the hard-working environment and

The team will be highly productive and active in the tasks for the achievement of a bigger vision and success Democratic Leadership Democratic leadership emphasizes inclusivity and collaboration. In this leadership style, the decisions are taken in the collective opinion of all the team members. The leader is also open to taking inputs from the team for the wide range of options and encourages the team to express their thoughts fearlessly. The style of leadership is more followed and effective as there is a high team involvement and exchange of thoughts for better and productive team performance. Hence involving everyone in the team in decision-making gives job satisfaction and helps build trust amongst the team. Though there is a high cost involved and a time- consuming process it is useful in growth and making the best decision for the company. Laissez-faire leadership Laissez-faire leadership is like a hands-off approach, where a leader leaves the team to make their own decision, find a solution by themself, and complete the assigned task with their ability to face problems and error-handling skills. Laissez-faire is a French word meaning “let them do”, where they are left free to do the task without the intervention of the leader and assistance, although the team is provided with resources and tools to do the task. This style of leadership is to push the employees who are skilled and have proven themself in the organization. Though there is empowerment of the morals and confidence of the person sometimes it may also end up with the failure in the results. Even after providing the full freeness to do the work, there must also be the process of monitoring on a timely basis to prevent the loss barring at the end. This type of leadership style is not much appreciated and followed in many organizations due to the lack of monitoring and assistance processes. Conclusion In short, leadership plays a very big and important role in the maintenance of the work and the organization. The process of forming the team and assigning the leader to look after the team and manage it to bring the best out of every team member is a challenging task but can be done in better and more efficient ways by following the different leadership styles based on the team and its requirements for the success. All leadership styles come with their advantages and disadvantages hence following the appropriate one based on the task and situation is what makes the difference in the growth of business.
