Out of the 131 hired, 59 are freshers.<br><br>In an exclusive interview with Business Insider, co-founder and CEO of Urban Company Abhiraj Singh Bhal said that the company has kept all the job offers it had rolled out and has virtually onboarded the new employees.<br>The new joinees are from colleges like Harvard Business School ISB, IITs, IIM, LSR, NSIT, DCE, BITS PILANI among others and were hired for customer and partner support, business development and technology.<br><br>In the financial year ending March 2020, Urban Companyu2019s revenue more than doubled to u20b9216 crore, a little over half of which came from the beauty and wellness vertical. Its last reported valuation is close to $1 billion.<br><br>Urban Company (earlier called Urban Clap) had grown in popularity for offering at home repair services and salon services at the click of a button. However, Urban Companyu2019s services had been hit during the coronavirus pandemic.
