  2. Steps of creating Acer Recovery Disk: • Turn on the Acer computer. Care must take here because disk recovery takes up a lot of energy. So it is advised to use connected chords to accomplish this task. • After selecting and clicking the start button, go to Programs-> Choose “Acer Empowering Technology”->From the resulting pop-up, choose ”Acer eRecovery Management”.

  3. Here, you represented with two options. The first one is full, choosing full will take more time, but it will recover the entirely of files. The other option is fast. Choose this to recover only the essential files. • Type the name and date of the backup image and click on next. • Now, select yes in the backup disk reminder box and then click on next.  A backup copy is a mirror image of the computer hard drive. The recovery times for the systems depends upon the disk space used. So whether you use fast of slow your disk space will determine the recovery time. For a moderately filled disk, the recovery times are 1 to 2 hours for full recovery and 30-60 minutes for fast recovery.

  4. After the completion clicks ok and insert an external CD. • Highlight the backup image and click on burn disk. Select “Create user back up disk” before clicking next and start the recovery process. • Note: More than one CD might be required. Your system is now backed up and safe.
