What are Blast Resistant doors?

Blast Resistant doors are designed to protect people and property from the effects of an explosion. These doors are made from materials that are strong enough to withstand the pressure of a blast, while also providing protection from shrapnel and debris. They also help to contain the blast, reducing the risk of damage to surrounding areas. Blast Resistant doors can be used in both residential and commercial settings, providing an extra layer of security against potential explosions.

  1. What are Blast Resistant doors? Blast-resistant doors by Ecotone are highly effective against the blast. The environment at power plants, petrochemical facilities, transformer rooms, control rooms, chemical plants, industrial plants, pharmaceutical facilities, etc. has a high chance of explosion. Our blast-resistant doors can help in reducing the damage caused by these explosions. The location of the blast can be inside or outside the occupied space, depending on the process and blast conditions. For instance, if a blast happens outside and requires the protection of the control room, so we can use blast-resistant doors to make its impact less and can also save the control room for damaging or it could happen inside a reactor or storage space and require the protection of the outside area. Each door is anodized or comes in painted finishes as per the situation and sizes can also be customized. These doors also have a high fire rating. All required accessories

  2. such as latches, handles, hinges, and gaskets are provided by us. The installation is done team of experts. Each door set can be custom-made to the client's exact requirements, allowing for almost any form or size to suit the project's needs. Ecotone Blast resistant doors features         Blast resistant tested for up to 40 bar overpressures Fire rating standards BS 476 part 20 & 40 Resistant to gas explosions Tested to CPNI C15 anti-terrorist TNT blast standard Impact resistant to 3000J after the 180-minute fire test Highly energy absorbent Have Pneumatic/Hydraulic Mechanisms. Size 4m x 6m (W x H), can be customized also Types Of blast Resistant Doors Single-leaf doors These are hinge-type doors that are formed and fabricated from stainless steel and come in various paint finishes. The doors and frames are assembled in such a way that they transfer blast force to the surrounding walls and provide protection against explosion Double-leaf Doors There is no specific size we can customize the doors as per need. These doors come with single/multiple gaskets for airtightness to provide more protection from blasts. Use of blast-resistant doors These doors can be used for many different situations. Where there is a risk of blasting and to provide the highest level of security. Industries make significant investments in process plant design to reduce the possibility of unintentional explosions. All structures located within the range of accidental explosions are intended to be blast-resistant even though the likelihood of an accident explosion is relatively low. Storage of pressurized and/or flammable materials, such as in chemical plants, is another popular industrial application. Where there is a risk of exploding and to provide the highest level of security, blast- resistant doors can be used. These can be utilized for military purposes to save human lives and are appropriate for industrial manufacturing facilities. It can be used in high-security areas such as storage rooms and control rooms to protect data from explosions happening outside. In chemical laboratories, it can be very useful to use these doors as they are not only blast-resistant but also protect against fire.
