  3. ABOUT UNIVERSITY Chaudhary Charan Singh University (previously Meerut University) was founded in 1965 to meet the higher education needs of western Uttar Pradesh. In 1991, the University celebrated its silver jubilee. Likewise, the teaching departments of several faculties are situated in large buildings with well- equipped laboratories and sophisticated amenities. Furthermore, The University also has a separate engineering college, which is currently offering courses leading to B.Tech. degree in several different branches of engineering. There is single occupancy and shared rooms available.
