  5. HISTORY The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Kurnool is a Public University that was founded in 2015. As a result of an act passed in 2014 by the parliament, the Ministry of Human Resource Development was obliged to start this institution. In 2017, the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kurnool got the status as the institute of national importance. It provides various courses to its students in engineering, mathematics, physics, and so on. Design, and Manufacturing,

  6. INFRASTRUCTURE Hostel: The institute has two hostels on its campus. One of which is for boys while the other is for the girls. Each hostel has a warden to take care of the children and solve their problems if any. Moreover, the students are provided with a fully furnished and serviced room. Each room has all the basic facilities like bed, fan, closet, table and so on. For accommodation on the campus, the local students get the last preference. Gym: Most students these days are fitness conscious as a result of which they regularly workout. However, it is difficult for students on campus to travel outside for workouts since they also have to focus on their academics. Due to this, IIIDM, Kurnool decided to have a gym on its campus. Having a gym on campus helps students to maintain their fitness and stay healthy. As a result of this, students save a lot on transportation costs and time. However, the gym is not open for the whole day and the students have to follow the timing given.

  7. Cafeteria: Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing, Kurnool provides good quality fresh food to its campus. This also makes it convenient for the students to eat according to their convenience without traveling much. In addition to that, the cafeteria offers numerous cuisines and food choices for all its students and teachers. This cafeteria is open only at the given timings with a special cook to cater to students of all needs. Sports Complex: The University provides the best sports facilities to its students such as a badminton court, basketball court, and a football ground. In addition to that, the institute also has a cricket ground, tennis court, and volleyball court. Moreover, the University provides its students with a lawn tennis court as well as a table tennis court. These facilities help the students to maintain their fitness and lead to the overall development of the student. Also, the college gives its students opportunities to represent the college and participate in inter-departmental events.

This library has a vast collection of books ranging from all times to all subjects such as management, physics, engineering, mathematics, science, and so on. These books provide the students with the additional knowledge they need to stand out. In addition to that, the library also provides a common ground for students of all age groups and courses to come together to enhance their knowledge. Wi-Fi campus: Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing, Kurnool offers its students with free Wi-Fi facilities on its campus. This helps the students to learn from various platforms. Also, this helps the students stay updated with the latest news and do research in various fields of their choice.
