  3. ABOUT UNIVERSITY Indian Institute of Technology, Goa, was started in 2016 and offered bachelors, masters and Ph.D. courses to its students in various fields. Approved by UGC, the University gives full-time and part-time education to its students. The director of this institute is Prof. B. K. Mishra, while the chairman is Amit Khare.   5. HISTORY The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, established the Indian Institute of Technology in 2016. It is one of the youngest Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). For three years, IIT Bombay has mentored this University. In Ponda, Goa, the institution is temporarily located at the Goa Engineering College. The permanent campus of the institution is currently under construction at Sattari in North-Goa District on a 240-acre land.

  6. INFRASTRUCTURE Sports Complex A sport is crucial to maintain fitness and for the overall development of the students. As a result, the Indian Institute of Technology, Goa, offers various sports facilities to its students, such as a badminton court, basketball court, and cricket ground. In addition to that, it also provides its students with a football ground and table tennis court. Labs Classrooms and exams provide students with theoretical learning. But in real life, practical learning is more important. The hostel of the Indian Institute of Technology, Goa, has a total capacity of 320 students spread over two blocks. Each block has two floors, and each floor consists of 40 rooms which are shared by two people per room. In addition to that, all the basic facilities are provided to students, such as restrooms, bathrooms, geysers, water coolers, water purifiers, and so on.
