ABOUT UNIVERSITY Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic & Persian University (MMAHPU) derives its name from the visionary and highly praised Maulana Mazharul Haque. There is no wonder that the contributions in form of financial and nonfinancial objects made by Maulana establish the name of the university in alignment with Maulanas name. The prime objective of the university is its objective-oriented functioning. Moreover, through its functioning, it aims to impart knowledge and Create Alim (UG level ), Fazil (PG level), and Diploma ready graduates. HISTORY Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic & Persian University established in 1998 by the Bihar states University Act 1996. The University in its formation conceptualized to provide excellent quality knowledge and preserve the Urdu, Persian, and Arabic Literature. The University. Furthermore, the Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic & Persian University falls under the UGC act 1956 which grants it the liberty to operate in the entire of Bihar. Additionally, the University during its lifetime has seen many notable VC’s some of which include the likes of Prof. M. Ahmad Arzoo (1st VC that to a lady), Shri V.S. Thus the courses available at the institute are, BBA, BCA, BJMC, MBA, BLIS, Diploma in Functional Arabic, Diploma in Functional Persian, Manuscriptology, Diploma Institutions, and Librarianship.
