The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is the entrance exam for design. It is conducted by IIT Bombay in every month January which allows 2 consecutive attempts. Once the candidates pass the exam they will get admission in Bachelor of Design. Exam occurs in an online mode. The UCEED exam is tougher than JEE exam so candidates needs to prepare hard for it.   2. Introduction Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design, in brief, UCEED, is the entrance examination for design. Generally, IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED examination under the Guidance of the Implementation Committee of UCEED- CEED. Once the candidates get passed in the UCEED Examination, they will get admission for Bachelor of Design (BDes) at colleges accepting these UCEED scores. As per the latest news from IIT, Bombay candidates can start applying for UCEED from September 09, 2021, without a late fee. Likewise, applying for UCEED with a late fee is from October 11, 2021, to October 17, 2021. Consequently admit card for UCEED will be Released from 08, January 2022. Generally, the application fee for all category UCEED candidates is 2000 Rs. As per the official notification, The UCEED Examination will be held on 23, January 2022 between 9 AM to 12 PM. Once the UCEED examinations are finished you can get your result on March 10, 2022. UCEED  Eligibility Criteria • If a UCEED aspirant wants to clear the UCEED examination, he or she needs to have the following eligibility criteria to qualify appearing for the examination. • Nationality • Candidate must be an Indiancitizen.Foreign citizens can also appear for the examination under certain guidelines and regulations.  • Qualification • Final examination of the 10+2 system which is organized by a Central or State Board from recognized by Indian Universities. • Then, the aspirants must complete the Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination. • Also, Final two-year course examination of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy. • Then, the Senior Secondary School Examination which is organised by the National Institute of OpenSchooling with a minimum of five subjects. • AGE • Only candidates who were born from October 1, 1997, can attend the examination, which is for only General/ / EWS / OBC category candidates. In case of belonging to the SC, ST, or PwD category, the candidate should have been born on or before October 1, 1992. This age limit is an updated version from the official website, which means this will be applicable only for UCEED 2022. It will change every year.

UCEED SO EXAMSYLLABUS UCEED SO EXAMPATTERN • Part A • Visualization and spatial ability: Diagrammatic questions and Pictorial to know the understanding of transformation and manipulation of 2D and 3D objects and their spatial relationships, everyday mechanical and knowledge of practical and scientific concepts. • Then, Observation and design sensitivity: Ability to detect concealed properties in people, situations, ordinary things, and events, and critical thinking about them. Applying attention to, analyzing, classifying inferring reasoning, and predicting. UCEED Admit Card • Generally, Candidates whose registration is completed in all aspects can be able to download the Admit Card from the UCEED registration portal (www.succeed.iitb.ac.in). • The Admit Card will have the following details of the aspirants: Name, UCEED Registration ID, Roll Number for UCEED 2022, Date of Birth, Category, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination centre details and instructions to candidates. • Candidates must carefully examine all the details in the Admit Card and the case of any discrepancy, contact the IIT Bombay office before the last date through the designated email address (uceed@iitb.ac.in). • In case the Admit Card is not available for downloading, the candidate must contact the UCEED Office at IIT Bombay immediately via email or phone].   6. UCEEDResult • UCEED Results is declaring on March 10, 2022. • Firstly, UCEED results will be available only on the official website (www.uceed.iitb.ac.in). Aspirants need to use the user login and password  which is created during the registration process for viewing the results on the webpage • Then, All aspirants who take part in the UCEED 2022 can download their Score Card from March 14, 2022, to June 14, 2022. • Then, Shortlisted candidates of UCEED will get a common merit rank after the result. How to Check the UCEED Result? • First of all, Candidates need to go to the UCEED official website • Then on the Menu, candidates have to click on “UCEED Result”. • After that, aspirants will get the direct link for checking Results. • Then, Click on the link, now you will have the option to fill in your registration number and date of birth • Enter your registration number and date of birth created during the registration. • Now click on the submit button at the end. • Then, the result page will popup in front of you • Now you can get your result of UCEED • Finally, take a printout of it, if needed.

How ToApply? • Step 1: Filling registration form • First candidates must visit the UCEED official website then look for the related icons for the application process.  Once you find the link create login credentials, then you will get a message from the IIT Bombay team.  The message will have your application number and password, which will be also sent to your mobile number. • Step 2: Filling application form • Once the registration number and password are generated login again into the official website. Then, provide your user name and password in the given space, which is generated earlier. Now the application form for UCEED will pop up in front of you which has certain details to be filled in. I will mention in the following paragraph the details which need to be filled in. • Just general information like parents names as well as gender, nationality etc. • Step 3: Selecting cities for examination • Once finished with application details you have to choose the cities which is comfortable for you to attend the examination. You also have options while choosing, so choose three cities near you. You will get one of three cities that you preferred during this process. • Step 4: Upload Documents • Once you selected the cities then move to the upload document section. Where upload your required documents which are mentioned below • First Recent colour photograph, then scanned copy of your signature. • Qualifying examination certificate, in case, asked.  Then, Provisional certificate (in case asked), Category certificate (in case asked)

  9. ImportantFAQ Q. Is it difficult to crack Uceed? Yes, generally UCEED questions are likely to be difficult but you can pass the examination with proper preparation. Generally, the mode of application will be online only. Q. Is Uceed tougher than Jee?
