  3. 2. ~番(BAN):Japanese Counter For Order

  4. 3. ~枚(まい)MAI): Counter For Thin & Flat Things

  5. 4. ~台(だい/DAI): Japanese Counter For Machines And Vehicles

  6. 5. ~歳 (さい)SAI: Japanese Counter For Age

  7. 6. ~ 冊(SATSU): Counter For Books And Notebooks

  8. 7. ~着[(CHAKU)ちゃく]: Counter For Clothes

  9. 8. ~ 人(にん (NIN): Counter For People

Practice conversation using Japanese counter In Japanese conversation, • A: いらっしゃいませ (Welcome/May I help you?) – a greeting to a customer or a guest entering a shop, etc. • B: サンドイッチ を ふたつ ください (Two sandwiches, please) • A: かしこまりました (Understood/ I have respectfully received your request)  In Romaji Conversation, • A: Irashaimase • B: Sandoichi Wo Futatsu Kudasai • A: Kashikomarimashita Here, ふたつ is to the counter in this conversation which is used to count things(sandwiches). Wo is the particle we discussed in the previous post . You can refer to Japanese particle post for more information.
