  1. ICRB Topper reveals how to Pass the Exam and be an Engineer at ISRO! After attempting the ISRO exam two times before, Ashish has a fair grasp of what went well and he offers suggestions on what candidates should be thinking about doing in the event of appearing for this exam. Established in 1969, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of India with its headquarters based in Bengaluru. Since its beginning, ISRO has had several successful launches, with Chandrayaan among these. ISRO's goal is to "harness the power of space to aid in national development while also pursuing the field of space science and planetary exploration". The agency is currently striving to get their astronauts on orbit by 2021.

  2. If you're thinking of joining this prestigious organization, ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board exam is the way to go. In this article, we present you an interview with ICRB examination AIR 4 as well as an outline of the exam. Meet Ashish Ranjan. All India Rank 4 in the 2018 ISRO exam. Born and raised from Ranchi, Ashish moved to Sikkim to pursue higher studies at Sikkim Manipal University. This is where Ashish began to develop an interest in Mechanical Engineering. Ashish states, "It was during this moment that I began thinking about what I wanted to do in the future. I was aware that having getting a high CGPA will not get me far." After having taken the ISRO exam twice, Ashish has a fair

  3. grasp of what went well and he gives some tips for those who want to be thinking about doing in the event of taking the exam. What was different from the third time? "The initial two times I failed didn't necessarily mean that I did anything wrong. My first attempt was in May 2017 I scored 111, while my cutoff score was 137. on my second attempt in December of 2017, I missed out by four marks. I scored 116, while the cutoff was 120. It's obvious that I didn't wrong the second time." * ISRO examinations are conducted in schools run by the government, where even the benches used for the exam isn't the most comfortable to sit on for an extended time. Be aware of this when you are in the hall, suggests Ashish. * There isn't a rough paper that is handed out to the candidate at the time of the exam. So, even when you are studying, you should take this into account to ensure that when you sit for the test you're not lost. "The initial time when I took the test, I was frightened at times because I did not have a rough copy," he recalls. * During the time that you are writing, Ashish emphasises on the importance of keeping track of time. Ashish advises, "Always time yourself while making mock paper. It can be helpful when you finally hand in the paper. On my second attempt, I paced myself during giving my mock paper." Be aware of the kind of questions the essay is announcing. Answer the questions in a short time before moving on to questions of the conceptual nature, which require more time however, be careful not to make stupid mistakes, warns Ashish. Do not walk into the exam hall with any preconceived notions regarding what kind of paper you will get. Ashish says, "In my second attempt I realized that the entire structure had completely changed. With the cut-off dropping in the middle, the difficulty of issues was increased." Ashish says that although he didn't do any wrong in the two previous attempts, the lack of practice was compensated for in the third attempt. A crucial tip to remember before you start working on the paper "Attempt the exam in two parts such as, for instance that if you have to answer 80 questions in the first phase, you should go through the initial through the final questions, and then try to answer the easy questions, as reading through the questions is a waste of time. Doing the easier questions at the same time will help you gain confidence. Begin by answering the questions that you're 100% confident about, and then proceed to the more difficult ones. Choose those which require the most effort and require a lot of time to finish," he says. If you want to read this post in check out this post Ashish Ranjan biography in hindi.
