  1. God’s Protection

  2. God’s Protection We are in a world where everything is not certain except of course the promises of God which stands forever. We are in a world where danger or peril is around the corner. There are natural disasters and calamities. Accidents due to human and mechanical failures which also we can not avoid.

  3. There are accidents or dangers done by evil men. There are sicknesses and diseases. There are also failures in businesses and jobs. The Question is: Are we protected from these? What does the Bible teach us?

  4. PSALM 91 PS 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. PS 91:2 I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!” PS 91:3 For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper And from the deadly pestilence. PS 91:4 He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark

  5. PS 91:5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day; PS 91:6 Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon. PS 91:7 A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand, But it shall not approach you. PS 91:8 You will only look on with your eyes And see the recompense of the wicked. PS 91:9 For you have made the LORD, my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place.

  6. PS 91:10 No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent. PS 91:11 For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. PS 91:12 They will bear you up in their hands, That you do not strike your foot against a stone. PS 91:13 You will tread upon the lion and cobra, The young lion and the serpent you will trample down.

  7. PS 91:14 “ Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. PS 91:15 “He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. PS 91:16 “With a long life I will satisfy him And let him see My salvation.”

  8. The Security of the Promises of God GE 28:15 “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

  9. PS 121:5 The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade on your right hand. PS 121:6 The sun will not smite you by day, Nor the moon by night. PS 121:7 The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. PS 121:8 The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in From this time forth and forever.

  10. What shall keep us out of God’s Loving Protection JOS 7:1 But the sons of Israel acted unfaithfully in regard to the things under the ban, for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, from the tribe of Judah, took some of the things under the ban, therefore the anger of the LORD burned against the sons of Israel. JOS 7:5 The men of Ai struck down about thirty-six of their men, and pursued them from the gate as far as Shebarim and struck them down on the descent, so the hearts of the people melted and became as water.

  11. JOS 7:7 Joshua said, “Alas, O Lord GOD, why did You ever bring this people over the Jordan, only to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? If only we had been willing to dwell beyond the Jordan! JOS 7:10 So the LORD said to Joshua, “Rise up! Why is it that you have fallen on your face? JOS 7:11 “Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them.

  12. And they have even taken some of the things under the ban and have both stolen and deceived. Moreover, they have also put them among their own things. JOS 7:12 “Therefore the sons of Israel cannot stand before their enemies; they turn their backs before their enemies, for they have become accursed. I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy the things under the ban from your midst.
