  2. LA VICUÑA Y SU PRÁCTICA ANCESTRAL El chaku de vicuña es una práctica ancestral que consiste en el encierro, captura, esquila y posterior liberación de vicuñas. Esta practica se hace en forma conjunta.

  3. LA VICUÑA Y SU PRÁCTICA ANCESTRAL En tiempos pasados, la vicuña, animal silvestre, fue fundamental para que los pueblos indígenas pudiesen sobrevivir en la Puna. Su carne era utilizada para el consumo y su fibra para la confección de tejidos e hilados

  4. LA VICUÑA Y SU PRÁCTICA ANCESTRAL Actualmente, esta costumbre continua: un grupo de personas rodea a las vicuñas, formando un “ cordón humano” para arrearlas hacia corrales. Cada integrante debe estar atento por que si “ rompen el cordón” , algunas vicuñas podrían escapar y el trabajo se echaría a perder
