AZTECH INNOVATIONS 01. BEARINGS Bearings are pressed into the exterior engine or transmission case to allow the transmission shafts to rotate freely and precisely. 02. COUNTERSHAFT The main shaft powers the output/countershaft, which is connected to the final drive by a sprocket or driveshaft. 03. GEARS The three types of motorcycle gearbox gears are slider, freewheeling, and fixed. Each gear ratio has two constantly meshing gears in a six-speed gearbox. There are so twelve gears in total. 04. FIXED & FREEWHEELING GEARS While the main shaft or countershaft is not necessary to drive freewheeling gears, fixed gears are an integral part of the main shaft or countershaft and spin at the same speed as the main protrusions or holes on their sides to allow for interaction with other devices. 05. SLIDE GEARS Slider gears can move along the shafts horizontally. They glide to make contact with the adjacent freewheeling gear, which temporarily fixes the freewheeling gear. A shift fork is used to horizontally move the slider gears. The moving of the forks is done by the shift drum. shaft or countershaft. They have CONTACT US www.aztechinnovations.com.au/ +61 480 284 137
