  2. BEACHES & SUN BONDI BEACH BYRON BEACH Bondi beach makes your beach journey complete. Less about the actual quality of the beach itself and more about the surroundings, atmosphere, history and people watching, like it or not, Sydney‘s famous stretch of sand at Bondi is a long-time fixture and also something of an icon in Aussie beach culture. Byron has come a long way in terms of development from its early days. Modern cafes and bars have been popping up over the years along with increasing i n t e r e s t f r o m p r o p e r t y developers, however, one thing that has remained unchanged is the quality of its beaches. Sporting a long, typically uncrowded stretch of coastline that is reached with a short trip from the Gold Coast and various other Northern New South Wales destinations is the contributing factor. WINEGLASS BAY One of the most impressive Tassie beaches is the spectacular Wineglass Bay within Freycinet National Park. Reached an approximate 2-hour drive from Launceston and 3 hour trip from Hobart, the beach is a fair hike but it is worth the effort. lak Ski Resort in the Medeu Valley. Here find three ski lifts, along with easy ski rental and ski schools.

  3. ADVENTURE ARKAROOLA SANCTUARY A r k a r o o l a W i l d e r n e s s Sanctuary  in South Australia's gorgeous Flinders Ranges has some of the clearest skies in the country and one of Australia's largest privately owned astronomical observatories. Guided tours using professional telescopes give you a close up look at distant galaxies. For the ultimate souvenir you can b o r r o w t h e astrophotography equipment and use your camera to snap a picture of a star trail to take home.  RED CENTRE Viewing Alice’s picture-perfect ranges at sunrise on an Outback Ballooning hot air balloon flight is just awesome. Sixty peaceful minutes in the air allows ample time to take in the vast, art canvas-style landscapes below. Watch for passing clouds of colourful budgerigars. Spend your afternoon admiring desert wildlife at  Alice Springs Desert Park where you can see dingoes, princess parrots and near-extinct Central Australian marsupials such as the 30 centimetre tall  mala, a tiny, shaggy-haired kangaroo.  r e s o r t ' s NINGALOO REEF Marine playgrounds don’t get much better than this. Most visitors head to the spectacular  Ningaloo Reef  to experience the thrill of swimming with whale sharks,  humpback whales  and even  manta rays. However, that's just the start of the adventure.
