Applications are invited for (General Nursing & Midwifery) GNM admission in Kolkata from INC recognized Government & Private G.N.M schools and colleges for the year 2017-18. The duration of the training course is 3 years which includes theory and practical as per prescribed syllabus of Indian Nursing Council.   1. GNM Admission in West Bengal GNM admission in West Bengal is depending on common merit list in all government institutions & 85% of seats in private institutions. All the seats will be filled up through merit list. Private Institutes shall fill up 15% seats under management quota as per the eligibility criteria of INC. All the institutions having INC recognition as on 2017 will be allowed for the e-counseling process. The candidates must have passed 10+2 with 45% marks from HS or equivalent course from any recognized organization. For GNM course arts and commerce students can apply. For B.Sc nursing science students can apply.
