  2. Introduction: • Pie Chart is a pictorial representation of numerical data by non-intersecting adjacent sectors of a circle. • Each sector represents a certain proportion or percentage of the total.

  3. Introduction: • The entire diagram looks like a pie and its components resemble slices cut from a pie. • It is used to show the break-up of one variable into its component parts. • The total of the given items is equated to 360 degrees. • 1% of the total value = 360/100 = 3.6 degrees

  4. Tips to crack Pie Charts in CAT: • Always keep in mind that in a Pie Chart 100% = 360 degree. • Learn Percentages, Averages & Ratio and Proportion. • Never ignore the units given for the variables. ( in thousands, millions etc) • Interpret the data well before starting the calculations.
