  1. SNAP Preparation Tips (2018)

  2. If you have prepared for other national level management tests like, CAT, IIFT, or XAT , then cracking SNAP will not be a difficult task for you. As you can see, the sections and the topics of questions or the SNAP 2018 syllabus is almost similar to the other MBA entrance exams. The General Awareness section is similar with IIFT and XAT; so a common preparation will suffice.

  3. Taking snap mock tests regularly, say twice a week will let you have enough practice. While taking the tests, make sure that they are time bound. Choose your questions carefully so that they are not much time consuming and ensure accuracy of the questions you are attempting. Refer various snap question papers pdf available online.

  4. The overall difficulty level of the exam is much easier compared to the exams like CAT, XAT, and IIFT, hence you need not worry about getting very tough questions to solve. Still, it is better to be prepared for the toughest than be overconfident about your preparation. SNAP 2018 is an objective type paper-pen based test, with a total duration of 120 minutes. Each question has 4 responses out of which students have to select the correct one. There is a negative marking for every wrong answer. Let us now have a look at the SNAP entrance exams 2018 section wise topic and preparation tips.

  5. Quantitative & Data Interpretation • This is amongst the important section of the test. The difficulty level of this section is basically from moderate to difficult one. There might be some, Data Interpretation sets, which may be tricky in nature. The topics in this section are: • Data Analysis, Geometry, Variance, Logs, Time and Distance, Percentage, Analytical & Logical Reasoning • The difficulty level of this section is moderate to difficult one, with total 40 questions. The topics of the section from which the questions can be asked are as follows: • Coding-Decoding, Letter-Series, Venn diagram, Cubes, Facts Inference Judgment (FIJ), Blood Relations, Double Line Distribution, Odd Man Out Verbal Analogy

  6. General English: • Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability The number of questions in this section is 40 with the difficulty level of easy to moderate. The section is usually a mix of Verbal Abilities and Reading Comprehension. There will be 1 Reading Comprehension passage, which might be simple to comprehend and with direct questions.

  7. The Verbal Ability or the English Usage questions were on the following topics: Vocabulary – Synonyms, Antonyms, Substitute, Sentence Equivalence English Grammar – Active & Passive Voice, Parts of Speech, Punctuation General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario The General Awareness section has 30 questions. The difficulty level of the section is easy and the questions are mostly on current affairs. Static GK question might also be there. The Current Affairs questions may have on sports, advertisements and brands, personalities, business, politics etc. The static GK questions may consits on India’s Constitution, History, Geography, Economics etc.

SNAP Pattern & Structure • Analytical & Logical Reasoning 40 • Quantitative Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency 40 • General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario 30 • General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability 40 • The more you will practice the better it will be.
