Moving Forward With Password-Free Security Through Biometrics Biometric authentication ensures secure entry and data access based on human information such as DNA, fingerprints, eye scan, etc. Biometric identifiers are unique to a person. Biometric identifiers may be physical or behavioral components e.g. pressure exerted while typing. Secure on-device storage of biometric information instead of cloud reduces chances of hacking.
