3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISC Bangalore) is a research University in the city of Bangalore, Karnataka. The institute has produced graduates like V. K Aatre and Sudha Murty, among many other notable scientists and graduates. The institute presently has as many as 3842 graduates. 6. HISTORY The History of IISC Bangalore goes as far as 1893. However, the institute was established in 1911 when the foundation stone was led by the Maharaja of Mysore. However, if one compares the statistics of placements of top IIT and IISC, one will find that the packages at IIT are higher than that of IISC.
