5. HISTORY IIFT in 1963 was started as a Centre of Excellence in International Trade and Business set up by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Government of India. 8. Hostel IIFT Delhi has three hostel blocks that house its students. The blocks namely are C9, New Hostel, and Old Hostel. The New Hostel houses majorly the two year MBA program students and has similar features to the C9 hostel.
