  3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) is a deemed university, which laid its foundation in 1997. The university has its location in Gurgaon, Haryana situated at the foot of the Aravalli range. It is the only institute dedicated to neuroscience Education and Research in India. It is an autonomous institution funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. The University Grants Commission recognized the National Brain Research Centre (NBRC). Further, the university holds an Institution of Excellence by the Government of India. Admissions:Admissions in the National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) takes place in both online and offline mode. Therefore, students have to seek the admission form on the college website. Also, students who're eligible in exams such as JGEEBILS, JEST, GATE, External Fellowship Channel are preferable. However, the admission criteria are only based on entrance exams such as JGEEBILS, JEST, GATE and External Fellowship Channel. Besides, the eligibility for each course will be mentioned on the college website.

  5. Earlier in 1997, National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) came into existence by Prof. Prakash Tandon who is the visionary of the institution. The vision is to promote excellence and quality in education not only in brain research but also to produce an active, vibrant neuroscience community. Moreover, National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) holds its excellence in learning, teachings, development and research across neuroscience. In addition, the unique role is that the institute will act as a node to link other institutes carrying out neuroscience research in the country. Further, the institute acting in effect as a hub of the wheel rather than the wheel itself. Thus, National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) helps students to achieve their goals. HISTORY

  6. INFRASTRUCTURE The National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) has a good infrastructure. It has a wide range of facilities. The campus has a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Also, the campus sprawls on the lush greenery surface at the foothills of the Aravalli Range in Manesar. In addition, the National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) has facilities such as smart classes, canteen, hostels etc. Furthermore, the university has a Wifi campus, medical facilities, labs are available. Likewise, the university has various clubs to enhance students' skills. Some of the facilities of the National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) are: Transport: National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) provides transport facilities for the students. The institute provides roadway transport to MG Road, Gurgaon and back every Wednesday (5:30 PM), Saturday (4 PM) and Sunday (9:30 AM and 3 PM) for shopping and recreation purposes.

  7. INFRASTRUCTURE Hostel:The National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) has separate hostels for both men and women on the campus. The National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) campus provides comfortable hostels and a homely environment. Choices of beds are available depending on the students' needs. Also, the hostel has a well-equipped structure with all modern amenities such as twenty-four-hour Wi-Fi internet connectivity, room cleaning services, access to fully automatic washing machines and recreation rooms. Also, the hostel has facilities such as 24 hours water supply, cupboards, study lamps, water supply, internet facilities, refrigerators and microwave ovens for community usage. On rental basis guest rooms are available. Cafeteria:There is a student-run mess inside the campus. It provides tasty and quality foods. Also, the mess serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner to the students. Foods are provided at a minimal cost. The cafeteria is the best place on campus. The canteen committee works in a cohesive team, manage finances, face criticism and tackle challenges from the day to day life.

  8. COURSES OFFERED Courses: The National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) offers only two courses. The National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) offers courses only full time. For instance, the university offers courses in masters and doctorate courses. Specifically M.Sc in Neuroscience PhD in Neuroscience Moreover, the National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) has various clubs on its campus. It enhances the students' development. Also, the university has a ragging free and anti-sexual harassment campus. Thus, it gives more confidence and provides a comfort zone to the students.
