  3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY The OPJS stands for Om Parkash Jogender Singh University. It is situated in Churu, Rajasthan. Moreover, it is a Private university. It has been set up very recently. In fact, the State government of Rajasthan established it under Act 16 of 2013. In total it has ten schools. And, these Schools offer courses in many streams. For instance, there are streams like Engineering, Architecture, Library Science, Arts, Education, Computer Science, Commerce and Management, Foreign and Indian Languages, etc. Above all, UGC has recognized OPJS University under section 22 of Act 1956. Moreover, other statutory bodies like BCI, COA, AICTE, NCTE, etc, have also given their approval for its courses.

  5. HISTORY OPJS Trust is the force behind the establishment of OPJS University. Late Shri. Sanwaliaram founded this trust. In fact, he was from a rural family. Soon, he realized that only education holds the power to uplift the poor. First, in 1992, he started a primary school named 'Arya sabha'. And, since then, he never looked back. After he departed from this world, his son Shri Om Prakash took over. Thereafter, he established more schools. Later, his son, Shri. Jogendar Singh founded the University.

COURSES OFFERED Bachelors: Engineering, Architecture, Library Science, Arts, Education, Computer Science, Commerce and Management, Foreign and Indian Languages, etc. Namely, B.tech Mechanical, B.Tech Civil, BBA, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc. IT, B.Arch., BHM, B.lib, B.A, and more are available at OPJS University. Masters: Literature, Social Work, Philosophy, Tourism, English, Hindi, Pol. Science, Sanskrit, History, Economics, etc. Similarly, one can study MBA in HR, Finance, biotech, Agriculture, Construction Power, Pharmacy Education, and Institute management, and more. Besides, there are many other PG courses. Namely, M.Com, M.Tech, M.Lib, Master of Hotel Management, and many more can be studied. PH.D: For the PH.D. in courses, the candidate has to get his Masters's degree from a reputed university. Moreover, he/she should have a min. of 55% marks.

  7. INFRASTRUCTURE Library The library is the soul of an institution. A library is an essential tool. It must be fully stocked and should give access to online as well as offline resources. In total, it has more than 20,000 titles. It gives students access to online resources through 24/7 Wi-Fi. Moreover, it has a collection of 1,33,600 books, reports, reference material, periodicals, etc. Modern classrooms At OPJS University, Churu has modern classrooms. In other words, it has aid for teaching the students. For instance, it has Projectors, Sound systems, LCD, etc. Hence, all the facilities make it easy for the teachers to teach the students. Besides, they are spacious and airy.

  8. Hostel and Accommodation Hostels are the second home for the students. They should have all the facilities to make the stay of inmates comfortable. Hence, OPJS University has living space for both boys and girls. In total, there are five hostels. Moreover, all of them are well-furnished. Besides, they have the capacity to accommodate 3000 inmates. Multipurpose Auditorium The Auditoriums at OPJS University are high-tech and well-equipped. In total, there are two auditoriums. Both of them are equipped with the latest sound systems, lightings, projectors, Air-conditioners, etc. Additionally, both of them have enough space to host many events. For instance, events like Seminars, conferences, placement meets workshops, etc. Sports and fitness Sports are a crucial part of the development of a student's mind as well as body. In fact, it helps in releasing stress. Moreover, sports build virtues like confidence and leadership skills. Hence, OPJS University has given all sorts of indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Cafeteria The cafeteria is the place which is full of laughter and fun. Whenever students get tired or hungry, they go to canteens to relax as well as fill their tummy. Moreover, the cafeteria is spacious. In total, there are three cafeterias. Above all, it remains open for students, faculty, and staff members.
