  2. Introduction • Applicants for our BDES and MDES programs sit for the IICD Entrance Exam at the national level. 120 BDES and 75 MDES seats are open for the exam. The results for rounds 1 and 2 of the IIAD Exam 2021 have been declared. • The written exam will consist of two parts: a General Knowledge, Creativity & Perception Test in Part A and a Written Exam in Part B. Material, Color & Conceptual Test, 2. Interview with the candidate. A total of 32 subjective-type questions are included in the exam. This exam will follow the curriculum of the 10+2 level. • Degrees in disciplines are considered to be the least eligible for B Des while for M Des, UG degrees are required. Candidates who have passed the IICD Entrance Exam 2021 will be notified in the final week of April. • List for admission to the B Des and M Des programs will also be published along with the successful candidates. Unless seats remain vacant after candidates have been allocated, seat allocation to waitlisted candidates will not begin.

  3. IICD Exam Eligibility Criteria • Applicants to the IICD exam 2021 must meet the following criteria: • For B. Des in Crafts and Design Program • Higher Secondary (10+2) exam from a reputable board is a must for the application process. • Applicants for the test may also appear in the qualifying exam. • For M. Des in Crafts and Design Program • A degree in Architecture/Design, Fashion, Fine Art or Home Science in Textiles & Clothing; Alternatives include: • After passing the Senior Higher Secondary Board Exam, a candidate should have five years of direct experience in crafts; or • Students with an interest in art, fashion, or design could major in any discipline. • The admission will until received defined eligibility by 31st October 2021; those appearing for their qualifying exams can also apply.

IICD Exam Eligibility Criteria • For Foreign Nationals and NRI Candidates: • For international applicants/NRIs seeking admission to IICD are the same as those needed for Indian applicants. • A set of guidelines determines if foreign nationals/NRIs are admitted to various UG, graduate, and certificate programs at IICD.

  5. IICD Exam Syllabus IICD Exam Pattern • The questions are based on SCERT Kerela. At last, the KTET syllabus is different for all four categories. • Category-I • Pedagogy and Child Development for age 6-11. • Environment studies and Maths up to class I-V by SCERT. • Some language-related questions. • Category-II • Pedagogy and Child Development for age 6-11. • Environment studies and Maths up to class V-VIII by SCERT. • Some language-related questions. • Category-III and IV • Subject-specific areas, Adolescent Psychology, and Language questions. • To pass the IICD 2021 exam, candidates must understand the exam pattern. The IICD exam pattern 2021 provides candidates with information of marking schemes, mode of the test, and more. Listed below are the exam patterns for all parts of IICD 2021.

  6. IICD Exam Admit Card • On the official IICD 2021 website, candidates can download their admit cards. Admission cards can have obtained by entering an ID number and password. In the first week of June 2021, candidates can download their IICD Entrance Exam (Part B) admit cards. • Admit cards for the IICD Entrance Exam 2021 can be downloaded by following these steps: • Select ‘Admissions’ from the drop-down menu. You will have redirected to a new page. • To log in, click ‘Login’. • Password and ID are required. • A computer screen will display your Admit card. • Your system will save it. • Get a sheet of A4 paper and print it out. The document can have saved for future use in several copies.

  7. IICD Exam Result • IICD Entrance Exam 2021 Result • For Part B, results will have announced in the second week of July 2021. Results for Part A will have announced in the second week of May 2021. Merit lists of successful candidates have been announced as the results. • On IICD’s official website, the results are available. • By entering their ID and password on the website, candidates can check their results. • Students who qualify have been listed on the website. There is also a waiting list, and people on it may have admitted if any seats are empty. • The candidates’ scores have been taken into account in creating the list. • After their names appear on the list prepared by IICD, candidates have invited for counseling. • It is their responsibility to pay the admission fee to ensure their admission.

How ToApply? • Registration • Check out the IICD’s official website. • IICD maintains the official website for IICD exam. • The ‘Admissions’ tab is located there. • Dropdown a menu and select ‘Admissions 2021-22’. • A new page will be displayed. • On the homepage, click the ‘Register’ button. • The page will ask you for your name, birth date, and other specifics. • Click ‘Register’ after you have filled out all the necessary info. • An ID and password are emailed to you; you will need to retrieve them. • After doing the application form, proceed to the next step. • Filling the application form • The User ID and Password you produced during registration can be used for logging in. • Upon signing in, you are asked for more information such as the name of the Guardian, mother’s name, and gender. • Describe your study in particular your high school diploma. • Fill out your permanent address and any other info that you would like to use for contact. • The form should be checked for accuracy.

How ToApply? • Uploading the documents • The next step is to upload the necessary documents after you have done the earlier steps. • Make sure your photograph and signature are fresh, colored, and passport-sized. • The IICD website tells a format for scanned images. • You can save your application and move on to the next step by clicking the ‘Save and Continue’ button. • The form can be edited if candidates need to. No corrections are allowed in the application form after the fee has been paid. • Payment of fees • There is an entrance exam fee of 1500 rupees for the IICD 2021 entrance exam. • It is possible to pay the entrance exam application fee online or offline. • Debit cards, credit cards, and net banking can have used for fee payment.
