  3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY The University of Kerala (KU) is the largest in Kerala. And, it is also known as the University of Travancore. Also, KU is a public university. It is in Palyam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. KU was established in 1937. And also, it is the first university to be set up in Kerala.

The University of Kerala has 150 affiliated colleges across Kerala. All students are very nice. The teachers are very helpful. They are so nice to the students. All do the work nicely. So that we are very good in all subjects.

  6. INFRASTRUCTURE The KU has a digital library. And, it contains thousands of books. It looks are so beautiful. And also, it has been making a concerted effort to enrich its infrastructure. So that to meet the requirements of students. It has a lush green sports field and cricket pitch. A well-furnished new college canteen is operational. Additionally, the College has an amazing infrastructure. The building looks good. Also, the facilities are always at their best. At first, I would like to share the details about the building of the college. It is a very huge building. It has many floors. The college looks so beautiful. And it is an old building, it is so strong. So many tribal people come here to study. The college provides a parking facility for two-wheelers.

INFRASTRUCTURE • It also has the following: • The college has a library with all the academic books and magazines. • It also has General awareness books. • The college provides WIFI access. • Also, to the labs and students. • Teachers for sending the college information. • This also including academic records, events organized in college, etc • Also, The library is one of the important places in the college.

And, It has courses in Degree, masters, M.Phil. and Ph.D. Moreover, CU also has multiple diplomas and other courses. Now, read below to know about courses at this place. Bachelors: KU is famous for its Degree courses. Besides, its undergraduate courses are in different areas. Such as, it has the courses like B.Sc, B.Com, BA, and others. ADMISSION INSTRUCTIONS • Candidates must follow the instructions for the admission process: • Original documents will be returned to the candidates immediately after verification. • And the copy of the document will be kept by the university for the record. • The candidate selected for admission must pay the required charges at the time of admission. • Also, The candidate can pay the fee through DD, net banking, and cash. • On the reverse side of the DD, the candidate must write the name, admission form number, and the name of the course applied for. • Candidates can take a copy of the DD for their own record.

  14. SCHOLARSHIPS • In KU, the government provides scholarship schemes. Uniquely for the lower class or caste and economically backward classes students. The scholarship is given in their bank accounts only to the students. • EBC seats are reserved. And EBC students get around 60% fee as scholarship. Also, the college submits the documents and caste certificates. • And, SC and ST are reserved. And, SC/ST students get around 90% fee as scholarships. Also, the college submits the documents and caste certificates. • Also, the OC students will not able to get the scholarship as per Government Scholarship rules. • But there is also a merit scholarship for the students without seeing caste and reservations. • And, It is completely based on the academic score pursued by the students. • Also, the state government will sponsor this particular scholarship to the students. And sent it by a verified process. • Then the students who get good marks will get the money. The scholarship is very high for the toppers.

  15. FAQ • Is admission open in KU? • KU has only one intake in a year. However, generally, the admissions for KU start in the middle of the year. Since the admissions at the University of Kerala for 2021 will commence in the last week of May or the first week of June. Therefore, all students must visit KU’s official website to know more about admissions. • What is the fee of KU? • KU is a public university in India. Hence the fee structure is very less. The average fee at the KU is Rs.7000 for a year. However, students must visit the University of Kerala’s official website for more information. • Why are KU cut-offs so high? • KU is one of the most prestigious institutions in India. It is one of the oldest and most prominent institutes of education. KU brings together the highest forms of education. Hence, raising its cut-off percentage every year.
