  2. Oahu North Shore Beaches ◦ Oahu is not only known for its historical and cultural destinations like the Byodo-In Temple. If you're looking for a beach that's both scenic and fun to surf, Sunset Beach on Oahu's North Shore is the place to go. This beach is known for its big waves, especially in the winter months. It's a two-mile stretch of mostly beige sand that's 39 miles from Waikiki. ◦ Chun's Reef ◦ If you're looking for the perfect beach to enjoy your surfing experience on Oahu, Chun's Reef is the place for you. A few miles outside of Haleiwa, this wide sandy beach is packed with umbrellas, chairs, and icy coolers. And if you're looking for a beach that's perfect for families, you've come to the right place. Chun's is a great place to surf and see Hawaii's green sea turtles. ◦ Chun's Reef is also famous for its gentle walls and is popular with both experienced and beginner surfers. While the lineup at Chun's is not as stacked as that at the Rockies, it still attracts a good crowd of surfers.

  3. Oahu North Shore Beaches ◦ Laniakea Beach ◦ If you love seeing green sea turtles, then Laniakea Beach on Oahu North Shore is the place for you. Also called Turtle Beach, this white sand beach is home to countless green sea turtles. It is a sanctuary for Hawaiian Honu, which are endangered green sea turtles that come ashore for a rest. The turtles prefer the afternoon sun but will come ashore during all seasons. ◦ Laniakea Beach is a popular surfing destination in North Oahu. People can also do lots of activities here like snorkeling, swimming, or just relaxing. ◦ Pupukea Beach Park ◦ Pupukea Beach Park, a serene cove on the beach, is also in Oahu. Its clear, calm waters are perfect for snorkeling. The park isn't well marked, but it's easy to find. Located across the road from the Foodland supermarket, it's convenient for anyone on the go. The park also has several small surf shops and roadside food trucks.

  4. Oahu North Shore Beaches ◦ Pupukea Beach Park is an 80-acre beach park that's part of the Marine Life Conservation District. There are strict rules about taking sea life here, so the area is still beautiful and perfect for swimming. The park features two main swimming areas: Shark's Cove near the northern end and Three Tables on the southern end. Both are excellent locations for snorkeling and scuba diving. ◦ Read more about the white beaches in North Oahu Shore, Hawaii, or book a tour today with Go Tours Hawaii. https://gotourshawaii.com/
