  1. Our Great Storyteller RABINDRANATH TAGORE "No words can capture the essence of his profound legacy of Rabindranath Tagore." This Nobel prize winner in Literature and a polymath was an accomplished writer, poet, playwright, philosopher, composer, social reformer and painter. Among his epic stories written, I want to touch upon his small and profound short story named - 'When Wishes Come True'

  2. It is about a father who wishes to become a kid to enjoy a carefree life, while his young son wishes to grow older to enjoy the authority that elderly enjoy. However once the wishes get granted, both realize what hardships each party has to actually endure. Similarly, I always wonder about the empathy that is sometimes missing in our corporate world, where a 24 year old developer wishes to become his 42 year old Project Manager. ONLY because he feels being a PM is so easy i.e. only give orders and not doing any coding on a laptop. Same applies vice versa as well. Let's learn to be happy with our current self and understand the other person's situation too. Would suggest exploring this amazing storyteller's poems and stories, which might seem simple on the surface, but very deep within.
