Why medical science has always been in hype and most of the parents want their kid to be a med student? Today we’re going to give you a brief about medical science.   2. What is medical science? Medical Science refers to the study of basic human body working. It consists of several studies like anatomy, psychology, physiology, bacteriology, biochemistry, etc. Medical Science is the study which can lead to several groundbreaking studies and findings in the future. Eligibility Criteria for Medical Science If you want to pursue a degree in BSc Medical Science, the eligibility criteria will be: 1. Students must have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board with the aggregate of 50% of the marks. 2. For SC, ST and OBC students the aggregate marks would be 45% 3. The age should be minimum 17 years of the age. 4. They must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their main subjects in the school. Admission Process of medical science There are several steps you need to take to get admission for the Medical Science Course: ● Colleges or universities requires students to download admit card or hall ticket after registering for the course. ● After the examination, they issue the result and the merit list for the eligibility and the students who the rank accordingly in the examination gets selected. ● All the admissions of the students are based on the ranking or the score they get in the examination. ● Selected students need to send the documentaions for the verification and go on with the further process.

Medical Science is about the diagnose and the treatment of the disease where as biomedical science is about the research of the disease. 2. Medical Science is the study of science which is primarily designed for the students as a entry level course who wish to pursue a medical degree and a health care degree where as biomedical science is the study of science which explores the functioning of the human body, how a disease caused and what can be the cure of the disease basically they do the research on the human body. 3. In medical science, it usually takes 8-9 years to become a qualified doctor. In biomedical science, it usually takes 4-5 years to become a biomedical scientist. 4. In medical science, you’ll be working in the clinics and handle the patients where as in biomedical science, you’ll be working in the labs and doing the research. Paramedic They respond or revert to the emergency calls of the patients who are sick or injured in any way. They make sure that the patient is safe and sound till they get to hospital for further care. 2. Pharmacologist They test and research on the different compounds in the body. They find the new drugs and the solution for it. They have knowledge and skills which helps them to make new medications. 3. Medical claim specialist They work as mediator between the client and the insurance company and help them with the reporting and the documentation with the help of their knowledge and skills.
