  2. NEVER SKIP YOUR MEALS Skipping meals thinking that it might help you maintain your weight is the biggest farce ever! No, you cannot benefit from skipping your meals, especially if you are working or traveling. Skipping your meals may easily backfire on you. However, we might sometimes unintentionally skip our meals due to work, or in certain unavoidable circumstances. In that case, there are a few tips that will have you covered.

  3. SPRINTING TOWARDS THE DOOR SPRINTING TOWARDS THE DOOR We all are guilty of this at some point in our lives. Some might face this situation multiple times a week. It is normal, considering that people might run late on certain mornings. There is no possible way to alter your busy work schedule, but you can evade the scenario of rushing to the door without eating a meal. The best way to do it is by pre-planning your meal. Make it a point to plan your breakfast or morning snack. You can either do it a couple of weeks ahead or if you cannot manage to do meal planning in advance, at least prepare something a night prior. This way you will not be skipping your meals, and also ensure that you are getting all the nutrition your diet needs.

  4. EATING OUT Treating yourself once in a while to a nice restaurant is a great idea, but that doesn't mean your diet will have to be compromised. With these guidelines, you can enjoy a scrumptious meal and not feel guilty about foregoing your diet. Select your place of dining beforehand - Always look up restaurants that have menus online. You will be prepared to order what you want beforehand. This way, you can build your meal combos prior and also include healthy and nutritious options that will not tamper with your diet.

  5. SOCIAL EVENTS AND GATHERINGS ■ Do not skimp on eating- People generally consume lesser food before a social event. It is generally to save up space for food at the meet later. Do not do this, instead consume smaller meals throughout the day because if you feel hungry before the event you will end up binge eating and eventually overeat. ■ Do not indulge in just one dish - In social gatherings, you get to taste a plethora of foods. You can taste all of your favorite foods if you practice mindful eating. Take very few portions of all the items available. It will also save you from the discomfort your stomach might give you after eating all that food.

  6. TRAVELING Healthy eating and traveling, doesn't it seem like an oxymoron? Because when you go on a trip or a vacation, you tend to indulge in eating, especially the mouthwatering local delicacies that are available. Travelling might also be quite stressful for some people. Besides, the fast-food options available at airports and subways don't help the case. Whether you are having a road trip, hiking, or catching a flight, a proper plan will always come in handy.
