  2. Edge banding is one of the best methods for sealing your hardwood or laminate flooring. These tapes help you seal the edges perfectly leaving a high-quality finish. The tapes are available in a variety of styles, designs and sizes. You can use any size or shape of these tapes according to your requirement. They come with or without the edges. Edge banding tapes are made from high quality materials that offer long lasting performance and do not fade with the passage of time. In order to get a better adhesion, one can expose the edges of the melamine sheets in order to dry them. If this is not done then the adhesive may leak and one will have a sticky residue which will make it difficult for the smooth side of the sheet to adhere to the floor.
