  1. THE HAPPINESS PROJECT Personal Happiness and Academic Career

  2. Many students struggle with the educational process, feel stressed and depressed because they not only fail to plan their everyday studying but also cannot see the general purpose of the educational process.

  3. So today, following our Happiness Project we are going to talk about academic career, planning, and happiness.

  4. Why Bother Planning Your Academic Career at All? One of the questions many students ask themselves and their Career Center personnel is why should they be worrying about the career? For different reasons, students believe that getting a degree is enough to get a well-paid job and be happy for the rest of their lives. Well, that’s not how it works. We live in the times of highly competitive job market where you have to strive if you don’t want to do someone’s laundry for the rest of your life. While there is nothing bad about manual labor, you simply don’t have to go to college or university to do it.

  5. Reasons to Plan Your Academic Career Many students believe that planning an academic career is something unrealistic and unimportant. However, we are talking about a thing that will take from 3 to 7 years of your life (depending on the level of school and chosen area of studying). So you have to be a fool not to think about it and at least to plan, because: you will be able to evaluate your chances and possibilities define your goal and prioritize your interests focus on pursuing your interests So moving to the academic career planning, we have to establish some sort of rules.

  6. Ten Commandments of the Great Academic Career

  7. Planning Everyday Studying as a Part of Your Happy Academic Career As a part of your academic happiness, you need to consider also the day-to- day process that influences your confidence, mood, and overall happiness. So the second part of the article will be devoted to the proper planning of the regular studying process in order to make it easier and you – happier.

  8. As you can see, planning your academic career is not something hard. You simply have to remember why you have started, what makes you happy, and how your body reacts to everything around you!
