2. ABOUT HOSTING ORGANISATION FUNDACJA ROZWOJU SPOŁECZEŃSTWA PRZEDSIĘBIORCZEGO Fundacja Rozwoju Społeczeństwa Przedsiębiorczego (FRSP) was founded in August 2014 in Wola town,Silesia region,Poland. Youth is our main target group. Volunteering is very important field of our mission. We do help young people to get first individual experiences and help others by that. Thanks to it we combine two fields of activities: work and social activation. We available Polish youngsters to go abroad to volunteer or participate in Youth Exchanges. We also provides such an opportunity for youngsters from other countries by hosting volunteers and do coordinate institutions which are also hosting organization for foreign volunteers. ABOUT US FUNDACJA STREFA MONTESSORI - KAMPUS NOWA EDUKACJA Strefa Montessori Foundation was founded as a result of many years of passion connected with education of children and young people, as an effect of disagreement with the commonly prevailing model of teaching. We coordinate a Montessorian preschool and an alternative primary school "Kampus Nowa Edukacja" which follows an individual work program. Both the preschool, the primary school, and the studio are places that focus on individualized and holistic development of children. The basis of our education is trust, empathy, building good relationships and mutual respect.We work in the spirit of NVC (Non-Violent Communication), Positive Discipline, in the culture of educational circles, we conduct student tutoring.We teach through experience, project-based, outdoor.

5. WHERE? Not wihout reason is Pszczyna included to the most beautiful towns of southern Poland. This unique PSZCZYNA town has attracted tourists for years, enchanting them with a picturesque scenery, inimitable atmosphere and rich history, dating back to the beginnings of Piast Poland. The greatest tourist attraction is the Castle Museum, a former princes’ castle, considered one of the most magnificent palace and park complexes in Poland.

6. KINDERGARTEN ACTIVITIES Work in a kindergarten with small children, in two age groups: 3-4 and 5-6 years old, as well as in a primary school with two groups of the youngest children aged 7-10. (mixed) • to assist and simply spend time with the children in daily routines ( preparing meals, dressing, cleaning the room, resting); • addressing them in English and help with various activities (playing, organizing the workshops and workplace,having fun); • to read fairy tales to children (in English and native language); • to prepare simple and adjusted games for them, so they could play with him/her despite the language barrier; • to go out with the children on walks, to the park, to the playground, on verious trips - to participate in everyday life of our charges;

7. KINDERGARTEN ACTIVITIES The task will be also: • to conduct cyclical conversation classes in primary school with the children in grades 1-3 about culture, geography, interesting facts about their country and their own interests; • to prepare educational materials for working with children (searching for materials on the web, creating graphics in Canva, printing, laminating); • to help in creating materials promoting the kindergarten and primary school (photos, videos); • to organize and implement semi-colonies /summer camp/ winter camp; • Own volunteer's ideas.

8. SCHOOL ACTIVITIES Grades 4-8 of primary school and in high school • to conduct cyclical extracirricular activities in accordance with the volunteer's interests and pastimes. Lessons for children and teenagers from grade 4 up, as well as for the youngest children at school (7-10 years old), e.g. culinary, scrapbooking, media, etc. • to conduct conversation classes both in (it includes preparation for these classes: choosing the topics, preparing language / communication games, online games, story telling, board games, etc. We would like those classes to be mainly about the culture, geography, interesting facts of volutneer’s country but also on the topics of the voluneer’s own interests)

9. SCHOOL ACTIVITIES The task will be also: • to participate in school life and free conversations with children in English (common lunch breaks, going to the musem, theater, various trips, accompanying children) • Promotion of European Solidarity corps in 8th grade of primary school and in High School; • help with preparing school events: Earth Day, European Languages Day, Children's Day, etc. • help with preparing teaching materials (flashcards, Canva, printing, laminating) • assistance with creating promotional materials on FB, Instagram (photos/videos/reels) • Own volunteer's ideas.

10. PROFILE OF THE VOLUNTEER: • Our ideal volunteer should be warm, empathetic, patient, willing and enthusiastic about working with children. • No special qualifications are required, but we would like such a person to be organized, charismatic, open-minded and willing! • to show their own initiative and creativity in various areas - in conducting interesting activities with children, inventing fun games, initiating various school and kindergarten actions (e.g. pyjamas day, chess tournament etc.), keeping children busy. • Good, communicative English • Extra skills, interests and hobbies that he/she could share with children and young people and thus enrich the life of our institution. • Ability to play some instrument and any artistic skills are welcome. • interest in Montessori pedagogy, or pedagogy in general. • Due to the nature of the job (activities on the carpet, lots of physical activity, outdoor learning), we are also looking for a physically fit person.
