The Tower was the tallest outside New York City until 1967.

  3. The Terminal Tower has a hotel, offices, retail shops above ground, and the underground public transportation base for Cleveland. 1,000 buildings were torn down to build the tower. The tower is 98 feet square. The Terminal Tower also goes 250 feet below ground level.

  4. The general contractor who built the terminal tower was John Gill and his sons. The architects were Graham, Anderson, Probst, and White. The Terminal Tower was "Topped off" on August 18, 1929.
