  1. IL BUDDISMO Il Buddismo è una delle religioni più antiche del mondo, si è sviluppata in Asia tra il 400 e il 600 a.c sopratutto in India ma anche Thailandia Birmania  e Cina . Conta più di 500 milioni di fedeli, stando al terzo posto delle religioni più professate.Il fondatore del buddismo fu Siddharta Gautama.

  2. LA STORIA E CULTURA BUDDISTA Il Buddismo viene spesso definito come una filosofia di vita i cui principi e regole permettono di raggiungere uno stato di pace interiore. Come riportano le prime scritture del II secolo a.C., Buddha stesso avrebbe definito Quattro Nobili Verità che stanno alla base del Buddismo e sono -la sofferenza è parte dell'esistenza. -le cause della sofferenza sono la ricerca di appagamento e l'attaccamento, che derivano dall'ignoranza della transitorietà della vita. -la cessazione della sofferenza è possibile grazie al distacco dai desideri e dai beni materiali. -il Nobile Ottuplice Sentiero è la via per la cessazione della sofferenza.
