  1. Get More Life from Wear Parts It isn't a good idea for the crusher to go unmaintained after you have invested a significant amount of money. Parts cost a lot and needing to purchase more parts than you would normally requires cuts the bottom line. Although parts will need to be replaced eventually, following a few simple tips will help reduce you expenses in the long run and keep your equipment up and running. 1. Conduct frequent inspections When you take a couple minutes every day or week to inspect the belts, crushers, feeder and screens You will notice problems getting worse prior to them becoming a serious issue that requires parts and time to repair. If you find that your blowbars are wearing faster on one side, you can try feeding material from the opposite side. This can allow the bar to last longer and keep it from having to be replaced or rotated. Adjust the settings to decrease the amount of material returning to be crushed, and consequently reduce wear on one side. 2. Be sure to monitor material feed mix and the size Crushers, no matter the model, are able to handle feed of a specific size. Constantly approaching the size limit for feed to the crusher could put unnecessary strain on the crusher and cause premature failure of the parts and can also lead to drive issues. Also, make sure that what you feed can be crushed. Some crushers are capable of handling small amounts of steel. Others cannot. Even though some crushers can handle rebar steel, that does not mean they should be expected to handle massive steel plates as well as compressed gas cylinders, or floor safes. There are times when you're lucky and have no issues, or you may spend some time or even days down while replacing parts. Check out here to get additional resources about shredder parts. 3. OEM parts There's a saying "you get what you pay for." This is also for crushers. It was a costly purchase to purchase a top-quality crusher. Making use of OEM parts means that you are using the parts designed for that unit. Although parts pirates may offer similar parts for a few dollars lower than the OEM's price, did the pirate test their designs on the spot and then inspect the foundries to ensure they met exacting engineering specifications prior to selling them? It""s unlikely. In the end you will benefit from using OEM parts could cost a little more however, you can generally get superior performance with OEM parts, so you""ll be able to make up the extra few dollars you spent on counterfeit parts.
