Jose Torres, a Latino from New Jersey and an executive accountant and high level consultant, will take his case to trial on October 3, 2023 in Newark, New Jersey in front of Federal District Judge Brian Martinotti. Under New Jersey state law engaging in prostitution as a customer is a disorderly person's offense - not even a misdemeanor. In New Jersey, a "john" would normally only be fined about $350 for this conduct.<br>
