  2. Aluminum is one of the most naturally occurring elements on the planet. Even though the availability of the metal is quite high, yet the useful of aluminum has never decreased. The use of aluminum is not only found in the electrical, electronic or mechanical industries, but is also extensive used for domestic purposes as well as food industry.

  3. However, most of the aluminum that is used for non-industrial purposes is essentially alloys of aluminum where there is lion’s share of the metal along with traces of other metals. Being a metal, it is a good conductor of electricity. The use of aluminum in wiring for the electricity supply has increased manifold recently. Aluminum Wires/Rods have been extensively used in the industry for varied purposes.

  4. A comparative analysis of copper and aluminum wires • The primary factor for choosing aluminum in wires over copper is the cost. Aluminum is a cheaper material when compared to copper since it is a bit expensive. • The weight of copper is more than that of aluminum. Therefore, the installation and maintenance of aluminum wires are easier than that of the copper wires.

  5. • Since the cost of aluminum wiring is less than that of copper, replacing the aluminum wiring at any point of time would a cheaper option than the same for copper wiring did. • The amount of other wires would be required more to conduct the same amount if electric charge when compared to the Aluminium Wire Suppliers. • Just like any common metal, aluminum also oxidizes when it is exposed to air. However, the compound that is created due to oxidization hinders the transfer of electric charges thus increasing the heating co-efficient of the material.
