The stainless steel is a durable material with an attractive modern look and also great for resisting the stains and other damage. Stainless steel remains a popular kitchen trends as it’s favored for its durability and sleek look from counter to cabinet and sink to appliances. Stainless steel looks great until become scratched. Unfortunately, whether it is a refrigerator, microwave or dishwasher, stainless steel can become scratched. If any scratches there, then it looks very awful. Fortunately, now scratches can be removed successfully from the stainless steels and your steel appliances can be kept looking like new. The steps to get scratch-free surfaces are given below: For Light Scratches Clean the appliance or clean at least the area around the damage before you begin to tend to the scratch actually. There are some different ways to clean the stainless steel scratches but one of the most effective and easiest methods is: •First take whitevinegar and spray it on your appliance and then with microfiber cloth just wipe the vinegar. Dip a cloth in a little bit of mineral oil or olive oil and wipe the appliance grain to reveal a nice shine. •A powdered scratch removal compound also can be used to address the scratch that you have on a clean working surface. Just add few water drops to the scratch removal compound and create a paste that is roughly a consistency of toothpaste. If you want to skip this step, can purchase a pre-mixed compound. •As in this step continue to apply the compound until the scratch is gone.

  2. •After being satisfied with the results, take a fresh, barely damp microfiber cloth and gently wipe the surface to remove any compound residue. For Deeper Scratches Where the above method is not useful, use a stain removal kit which contains a set of abrasive pads and a polishing compound for the larger imperfection and remove the scratch by following these steps: •Start with the appropriate grit pad as recommended, rub with the grain in one direction only on scratch. Use light rub and avoid to rub back and forth could cause for unattractive circular marks. •As instructed, move to a smoother grit pad and keep buffing process by adding any compound which is included in kit or water. •Now take a microfiber cloth and wipe the surface down to finish this process. Keeping Stainless Steel Scratch Free Once when you removed the scratches from the stainless steel appliances, follow the given tips to prevent more scratches from forming again: •Keep in mind to wipe the appliances with the grain, not against the grain even you are just wiping down with a damp cloth or towel. •Always use a soft microfiber cloth, never use a steel wool or abrasive pads for cleaning regularly. •Use a rubber dish mat to protect the stainless steel sink when you are washing heavy pots by hand. •Avoid to use the magnets on stainless steel refrigerators directly, which can cause for the tiny scratches over time. •Be mindful and don’t cut anything with knives in the kitchen directly on a stainless steel countertop or too close to any stainless steel appliances. •Don’t put any glass, pot or utensil on the top of stainless steel appliance while taking rest.
